
I simply offer the above as a focus for today.
You may know the icon, painted by the Russian iconographer, Andrei Rublev in the 15th century. It is known as the Hospitality of Abraham (representing the three angels who visited him), but more commonly as a representation of the Trinity; God the Father on the left, Jesus in the middle, and The Holy Spirit on the right.
I’ll say no more, apart from the observation that it is believed that the oblong space in the front middle of the table, is thought to have once held a mirror. Allowing the observer to see their own refection …..the rest I’ll leave to you!
