Here are some familiar words spoken by Jesus: ‘Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?’
All is valued by the Creator; there is not a part of creation that is not! The extent of God’s love and care works through each of us for the benefit not just for oursleves but for all of creation.
We each of us are agents of God’s love in the world. Yes, even your seemingly small part of creation. Sometimes I find this hard to believe and shut myself off from the seeming complexity of life. This is just my character type and I live with the frustration. I think until I overthink! Work that one out!
But thinking time is time that can open a pathway into the gracefulness of God. Not shutting down, but opening up to the gracefull breath of the Creative Spirit who is closer to each of us than we are to ourselves. Each inhalation and exhalation resonating with gracefulness at the heart of the creation.
The two House Martins are as integral a part of the Creation as each of us. Allow yourself to celebrate this truth. Let it open your heart to new possibilities in your part of the Universe!
