Tree trunks from a 10.000 year old forest, uncovered by the movement of the tide. A time before Britain became an island; movement of peoples from the east. I’ve used a similar photograph before, and I offer you this one, because I am constantly captivated by the story the tree stumps proclaim.
Wandering peoples,
moving east to who
knows where. Driven, guided,
directed to something,
somewhere, beyond their
vision and understanding.
We too
wander through our moments
and days.
Sometimes with clarity
and purpose. Other
times following the ancestors’
aimless path.
Somewhere, the call
deep down in the soul…
that never leaves
and fills our hearts
with possibilities and hope.
Uncovered v appropriate could you uncover the photo 😌R
