To be honest I spend much of the day wondering about something. Not worrying necessarily, but more trying yo make sense of what is unfolding and happening. Often, I drive myself up a metaphorical cul-de-sac and for a while, I allow the crowd of hopes and fears and worries to wash around my mind,
Often I’ll ‘park’ the thinking and leave it be, in order to move onto something more energising. I took this photograph yesterday, just because I was drawn to the cloud formation . I’ve parked my brain in this scene, just to allow myself to move beyond the rush of thoughts which clamour for attention.
I offer it to you in order that you can embark on your own wondering. It reminds me of the description in verese 2 at the beginning of Genesis, the first book of the Bible; ‘And the earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the deep, and the Spirit of God moved upon the waters.’ The creative process…we are part of it, in it, surrounded by it….held by the Creator.
