This is a slightly ‘off the wall’ photograph, but it is intriguing none the less! The movement of the water from the falls to the river and then on into the sea, which we can observe in the distance, draws our attention.
There’s a comment that Jesus made, recorded in John’s Gospel, which I think goes to the heart of faith…‘Whoever believes in me, rivers of living water will flow from within them.’ He was identifying the presence and work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
We are in essence, not left alone, because the Holy Spirit is the one who reaches into our hearts and souls. Bringing the reality of Jesus’ presence in our present moments. Whoever we are, no exceptions!
This is not easy to understand or expect, but it is none the less the action of the love of God in our days and minutes and reflections. It is as unique as we are!
Take a space, however short, and let the Spirit of God speak; in a way that will be unique to you.
