
The word for today is Reveal. Simply because that’s what happened in the time leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion, and afterwards. Those who pushed for a guilty verdict on an innocent person had their day, and thought that it would be enough to silence the one who claimed to be the Son of God.
But they didn’t count on an Easter day! The suprise that has resounded for millenia, goes back to the empty tomb and the resurrected Jesus. Something for each of us to think about not just now, as Easter approaches, but anytime!
God took the risk and the pain of all that happened with Jesus. Love costs. No boundaries.
In the moments leading up to Easter Day, we have to pass through the arrest and judgement of Jesus, The cruel verdict and the seeming end of it all. The shock of the first Easter….as the risen Jesus revealed himself as alive and whole and real and communicating the good news…
