Life is a journey of contrasts. Today’s photograph also speaks of contrast. The rapeseed flowers dominate, whilst the river meanders on its floodplain. There is evidence of a change of direction, witnessed by the oxbow lake in the mid-ground. The sheep gently grazing.
Our individual lives are full of contrasts, often moment by moment. In my experience the relationship we have with God, undergoes many changes throughout life. Faith is never static, because it would not be faith if it didn’t move and change through internal and external factors.
The contrasts in the photograph, mirror my own internal conversation. Into this mix comes faith. Utterly unique to us. A moment to give thanks, perhaps?
