Watching

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore. Psalm 121;7-8

Tide moving; rocks solid; Heron waiting. I just wanted to share this photograph with you, because it really resonated with me. The words of the Psalmist are very apposite as we observe the movement of the tide and the stillness of the Heron.

Within the twists and turns of our own lives, we can sense the power of the words from the psalmist. God with us, watching over us, forever. Not abandoning us when the storms happen, but holding us in the challenging times and the growing times .

There will be moments today and other days when you might feel a little adrift and uncertain. As you picture the Heron , hear the words of the Psalmist and the reassurance of the Holy Spirit in your soul.
