This is the most amazing sight I think I have ever photographed! The scene unfolded in the garden of some friends were staying with last week. A fox, up on its back legs, in order to pick ripe plums from a tree in their garden!!
They had never seen anything like this before and it continued for some time, and on other days! The sweetness of the plums was clearly too much to resist! It is an example to us of our own lives, the inner voices that clamour for attention….the ‘go on…it will be OK’ temptation!
How do we ‘hear’ God’s voice in the middle of all that goes on. Should we even bother? Well, I believe it is worth the time, because you never know where it will lead you. My experience is that God’s voice comes in many guises…..even through the damson eating fox!
Here are some words from Psalm 34, verse 8; ‘Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.’
A curious juxtaposition of words, but there is something that resonates with the sheer delight of the fox!
The Lord Bless you and keep you….
Amasing fox pic. Cunning as ever!
