Not the beginning but the ending of the day. Setting and settling and ending, with the promise of a new rising on the following day.
I have used a number of setting sun photographs in the past, and this one simply speaks of hope and promise and new perspectives. The ending of each day makes us stop and think, even for a second. Everything is held in balance and too often I take it for granted.
As I write this, the morning is bringing light after darkness. Whatever unfolds I hear the words of the risen Jesus at the close of Matthew’s gospel; ‘I am with you always, even to the the end of the age’,,,,
Think on these words for yourself.
