Alone?

Seemingly so! Just the one solitary poppy, bursting into life and colour. But surrounded by other poppies, preparing themselves for flowering and holding their heads high!

There are moments for each of us when we can feel alone. Personal circumstances, life choices, the list is endless. The picture reveals that the single poppy is not alone. It speaks to me about how so much is seemingly hidden, but is actually in plain sight. We just have to change our perspective and look more widely; open our senses.

Here are some words from Psalm 130 verse 5; ‘I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.’
