Kayakers caught in a still point as they float in straight between the Isle of Arran and Holy island. There was hardly a breath of wind and the stillness of the water was captivating.
I took the photograph because it resonated with something deep down in my soul; the ‘still point’ that rests within each of us and allows us to find the ‘still small voice of calm’. If you are anything like me, the constant internal chatter and thoughts that fly through my consciousness, give me little time to rest.
The stillness of the moment, even briefly, stirs something in the soul. The connection between created and creator.
