Balance….

‘Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand,
And marked off the heavens by the span,
And calculated the dust of the earth by the measure,
And weighed the mountains in a balance
And the hills in a pair of scales?’ Isaiah 40 verse 12

Profound words, which speak of the Creator and sutainer of all that exists…including you and I. The balance at the heart of creation and evolution. Not opposites but part of the whole of which you and I are part.

The flat stones, which in their precarious balancing speak of everything being held in perfect balance. Not regularity, but the grace of harmony which binds the universe even in the midst of all we are experiencing, which sometimes unsettles us.
