Taking a stroll alomg the dunes, a couple of days ago. For a brief second, out of the corner of my eye, I thought I saw a dolphin! Quick recompute of the scene and it was clear that the dolphin was either swimming in sand or it was something else. Aha! my brain chipped in; it’s a preserved tree trunk from the time that woodlends streched across what is now the North Sea!
Everything back as it should be. The illusion passed and the scene could be interpreted.
Dolphin tree,
rising above the sand.
heading across the
submerged landscape,
now rising from it’s rest.
All is not what it seems.
The moulding and brushwork
of the Creator,
holds attention
and invites hope.
That all will be well…
We shall see clearly, when
things hidden, will be revealed,
and a rising ‘Thank you!’ will fill
our souls .
