The shades of autumn; decay with the promise of new life. A time of waiting in the photograph I took a couple of weeks ago.
Some words from Hebrews 19, verse 8; ‘Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today and forever…’ A simple enough phrase, but a tresure chest of possibilities for each of us, whatever is happening in our lives.
Without the decay of the leaves in the autumn, there is a lack of nutrition for the growing of the new leaves in spring. There is a connection here with our own lives. The daily changes and challenges. Woven into our lives is the promise of Hebrews 19.
Everything changes except the truth of the statement that Jesus Christ is with us now and forever.
